The Foundation for Community Betterment's mission is to create an immediate, positive impact on the lives of individuals or organizations who lack the means to succeed. They strive to create a social network with a social conscious, so we work to create unique opportunities for our network to have fun while giving back to their community. They raise support for recipients in a variety of ways, including: hosting events, utilizing am 'Immediate Need Fund' to provide grants when there isn't time to do an event, and by rallying teams of volunteers to share their time for a community outreach project.
VisitHammondNY.com is a Hammond community website created, developed and maintained by Erica C. Demick - with past support from various local businesses - to promote the Hammond area to residents and visitors alike.
